Rental house is a 1200 sq ft modern bungalow with much skilled ceramic and construction work, two full bathrooms, three bedrooms.  The house is in middle of picture, 3 km from Mediterranean. Pisa airport, the main airport of Tuscany, is 40 km to the south. The airport handles many English-speaking visitors to Florence (Firenze, 100 km away) and can send you off in an Avis or Hertz car in a few minutes at a low price if booked from Canada.  Pisa airport has good train service,  taking you to Querceta station  800 metres from the house.  Taxis are readily available both at Pisa Airport and at Querceta station.    Lucca is 25 km away.

Above is Pietrasanta, 3 km from house, on via Aurelia and still on the Roman camp grid pattern.  Several delightful bars/cafes, particularly friendly to English speakers and with ready availability of English-language newspapers, Internet access and telephone prepaid cards. Pietrasanta is a centre for international sculptors using, like Michelangelo, marble from Carrara, 15 km away.
